Vote for Team Name

Okay so I've gathered as many as the names here as I could (it will only allow 10 voting options >.<)

I've made it a multiple choice vote so we can all vote for all the ones we like and then go with the one we all like the most. If that makes sense?

Hope this is okay We can build the poll another way if needed.

I voted...and I have to give credit where credit is due...as much as it pains me to admit it, my wife came up with both Equine Elite and SIMsations...so, being a professor and all, I figured I better not plagiarize...lol

Bahaha, I'm at university at the moment and they constantly beat the no plagiarizing thing into our heads. I wouldn't even consider it but today one of my profs told us that a student, who got done for plagiarizing last year and had to take the class again, handed in the exact same essay for this year as he did for last. They are booting him out of the uni. My question is... how'd he even make it INTO uni?

Believe me, I wonder the same thing about some of my students sometimes. Not only how did they get in here, but how do they think they're going to get thru college doing those kinds of dumb things? Now, it's not how I view all my students, but you know how it is, there's always one or two that really make you scratch your head.

This is a good way to do it but now not all of us are going to like the name that wins. That mean some of the team members will not be happy with it.

Well we have to pick and chances are not everyone will like it. I still like Team Jade but I do like the ring of Team Simsational. If it helps the team I'm fine with it. I mean it IS just a name.

PS still like Equine Elites.

I'll go with whatever wins. I also like Equine Elite, but voted for a couple of choices.

You're going to have to get used to the majority rules decision making process, Tatiana. All of the tasks will require a team decision and a vote is the easiest way to do that if we don't immediately agree. I used the multiple choice option so everyone could pick every name on the list that they liked. 5 out of 7 team members have voted to say they like SIMsations/SIMsational(s), amongst other selections. If you think this is unfair, please do elaborate on why so our next voting process will be smoother.

Has everyone voted? When we have a team name I may ask Em if its possible to "team up" our forum with a banner with our team name and team members on it, maybe surrounded by headshots of our favorite SIM horses or something. Any thoughts on that? Em might not even let us, but I think it would be cool if she did.

Oh I'd like that. Kinda weird seeing the Cold Steel thing. lol

Good idea Cleo, I like that idea. It would definitely be a much more welcoming forum than the cold steel we have now, hopefully that's possible. I just had a late moment of inspiration this morning as I woke up dreaming about the sim (which happens fairly often), how about for a team name we are "Eat, Sleep, Dream Sim"?. Just a suggestion, it not only is true but it plays off the Wonder fillys name.

I think if we're going with the SIMsations/SIMsationals, we should pick which of those two we want rather than use both. I know, I know, I'm throwing another whole decision thing out there, but I think I like SIMsations a bit more than SIMsationals.

I combined them because of the 10 option limit thing for the voting. Shall I start another poll so we can select between the 2 options or does everyone just want to post here?

I personally don't mind either SIMsations or SIMsationals. Both work just fine for me.

The only reason I like SIMsations more is because it's easier to pluralize a noun than an adjective. Now, if we wanted to go with Team SIMsational, that'd be cool, too.

All I know is time's getting short and we need to pick and move forward.
