Event 5 - Stakes Race

Olympic Gold Stakes. Grade 1. 1 mile. Dirt. Thoroughbred. 2-year-old fillies.
Taking place Week 10 Monday at Toronto Racecourse.
One horse must be entered from each team for a field of 20. 40 points to the winner, 39 to the second place horse, etc. Horse who finishes last will receive 20 points.

So far I'm liking Ricky's because she won, Talia's because of the quick work times and the nice 2nd place finish.

Maybe we can choose based on who finished best...or speed figs...or rock-paper-scissors. lol

lol They all finished with the same SF. lol What about equipment on them? Mine is weird and needs none are the other two running with everything?

Well, mine got the dreaded another piece comment, and I went with lasix...so, it's f8 plus something and I was thinking she worked and ran pretty well with the lasix, but if anyone sees something in her race line that says I should go with something other than lasix, please lemme know and I'll try it.

I'm willing to bet something hard to tell like bandages or nw. @_@ Her running lines don't tell me anything.

She's actually a dirt router, but I have her equipment figured and she ran a 72 in her maiden outing which she won.

That said, I think I like Silent and Kindler. Kindler because she is a true miler and a closer-stalker type and Silent because she's stewbred.

"'Awakeinthepast' runs with her head up high, I'd try a shadow roll. I think she needs one other piece of equipment too." (Pretty sure the 2nd piece is blinkers)

It's a tough call because I like Silent because she won and is a Steward-bred, but looks more like a router. Kindler is a nice choice being sired by Fire Added Starter (and we all know his ability with miler progeny).

Talia's Reverse Reverse was a closing 2nd in her debut and I love the speed in her works.

And then there's Cleo's horse, who definitely looks like she's bred to go long, but had an impressive debut win and SF.

So, I don't think we could really go wrong with any of those four, but my preference would probably be Kindler slightly over Reverse Reverse...Silent was getting caught at the end of her race and hung on by a head...so, maybe either her or Awakeinthepast as my third choice.

As for mine, I know Silent is the better horse. Maybe not at 1 Mile though, although her mom sure seemed to like that distance as a 2-year-old!

The way she ran maybe she needs a figure 8 as her second piece of equipment?? (Any opinions would be appreciated )

Kindler got an awful start and still ran on to win. She needs one other piece of equipment, although I have no clue what that would be.

I like Cleo's filly and Talia's filly.

Silent, being Strong and Silent's first foal, has a special place in my heart and I am supposed to win a Grade One before returning her to Emily. So, if any of you have any input as to how I should campaign her, I would love to hear some advice!

Ricky any info on Kindler's equipment?

Kindler needs Blinkers and one other piece of equipment.

Hmmm its tricky to guess equipment for horses with only one start...I dunno I think we'll be good either way. lol

I like Kindler & Cleo & also Talias fillies. Anyone would be good with me.
